STALL INFORMATION
Stall Fees for 3x3m Wares Stall is $90 +GST per market day, Double Stalls (6x3m) are available for $180 +GST per market day.
Stall fees for Hot Food Stall whether trading from a truck, trailer, cart or marquee is $260 +GST per market day.
Please enquire if you are wanting to run a workshop with us and we will let you know about the pricing.
After application is approved, payment is required within 7 days or no later than 48hrs of market date.
HOURS
Saturday Market runs from 11am – 5pm
Bump in starts at 9am (or otherwise specified) and traders must be on assigned site with marquee pitched 30 minutes before opening for trade.
Bump out starts at 5pm and must be finalised by 6pm
Sunday Market runs from 11am – 4pm
Bump in starts at 9am (no earlier) and traders must be on assigned site with marquee pitched 30 minutes before opening for trade.
Bump out starts at 4pm and must be finalised by 5pm
MARKET SET UP
Marquees or umbrellas are encouraged, Good Commons is an outdoor market and want you and your products to be protect from weather conditions.
All marquee/umbrella set ups must be weighted appropriately, no pegging is available as we are on asphalt.
PARKING
Onsite parking whilst bump in/out available, once completed and where possible we ask that you move your vehicle to street parking throughout market trade to ensure we have the most available spaces for patrons. No vehicles are to be onsite unless trading from one.
EXTREME WEATHER POLICY
Good Commons will only be cancelled in the case of extreme weather which could affect the safety of stall holders or patrons. This decision will generally be made the day before but in some cases, it may be made within a few hours’ notice. If this is the case, we will credit your stall fees to be used for another date of your choice.
In the case of bad weather including but not limited to rain, wind and heat Good Commons will still run if it doesn’t pose a safety risk.
Good Commons may close earlier if weather conditions become extreme throughout the day.
We will not be held responsible for any loss including fees paid by stallholders, damage or injury whatsoever resulting from adverse weather conditions.
FURTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Stall that has been approved to trade on the day can not transfer or on sell to anyone else. If you can’t make the market please contact Good Commons.
Stalls are pre allocated based on product mix and needs to the stall holder. A map will be handed out on the day, no changes are to be made unless approved by Good Commons.
Public Liability insurance must be held by all stall holders.
Stallholders must be ready to trade at time of opening and must not start packing up until after close times.
Marquees and all equipment must be set up securely and weighted appropriately and in accordance with the weather.
As safety is a priority, walkways must be kept free of product or displays.
Stallholders are required to have their fees paid before market event, if fees have not been paid stallholder will not be able to trade.
No refunds are given for cancellations made within 30 days of the market or on the day.
No generators are allowed unless arranged and approved by management prior to market day.
Food stallholders must comply with all relevant local, state and federal health regulations and food acts including registration with Streatrader.
Products and activities available on market day must not be a safety or security risk to visitors or stallholders of Good Commons.
Stallholders are to report any incidents to management.
Stallholders selling take home alcohol must provide relevant liquor license.
No alcohol is to be served opened for patrons to drink on site.
Good Commons is a smoke free zone, all smoking must be outside of the market grounds.
Good Commons does not take responsibility for:
Coming to or from the market
Damage or injury to any property or person
Theft or damage of product, equipment or goods under the control of the stall holder
All amounts quoted are exclusive of GST.
SUSTAINABILITY FOCUS
Stallholders acknowledge Good Commons focus on sustainability and will follow the below:
Where possible reduce packaging or use recyclable packaging.
Promote the disposal of all waste in an environmentally friendly manner.
Good Commons is a plastic bag and plastic straw free market, only alternate options can be offered.
